Hi everyone! New week, new projects! This is my favorite make of April. It is a mixed media card, made for the weekly challenge in the pop-up lift challenge group I’m in:) I started by stamping some distress on to my glass surface from Tim Holtz and sprayed it with some water to get a watercolor look. I swiped the paper into the different puddles of color and dried with my heat tool. Then I found some background stamps I…
Hello friends! A while ago I bought a tonic studio purse die, and I finally got around to try it! This red an black one is just made of Bazzil and has some tiny bling, and a magnet to close. This was quite a bit of work, despite the use of a die. The lace pattern is really intricate, and I struggled with the cutting a little bit, but after a few runs through my big shot, it was okay. The…
Hi friends! I admit it, I am totally in love with the Finnabair waxes! I paint everything I can find with black gesso, and then let the waxwork it’s magic. This time I had to ask my mom if she could be so kind as to eat her candy so I could have the tin. Hehe. And as you can see, she did. Thank you, mom! I used some casting moulds to create the angel and the rose inside the tin,…
At the beginning of 2019, I agreed with my self that I was going to participate in more challenges, so that I can have new ideas and learn new stuff. So far, I have managed to keep my promise to my self. This tag is made for a challenge on a Facebook group called Arjo’s ATC and tag. I enjoy tags and ATCs when I have no idea what to make, but I still want to make something. Here I…
This year the Easter bunny left me the biggest Easter egg ever! Inside was the greatest gift of all, show tickets, plane and accommodation for Creativation 2020 (the big show in Phoneix). I have to be the luckiest girl ever. And since we live in Norway, this is a pretty big deal. Isn’t this the best Easter bunny ever? I love you dear.…
Every week I participate in a challenge on a facebook group called “pop-up lift”, this card I made for last week lift. I used the Georgia blues design paper from Prima marketing, I also used embellishments from the same series. This is a really layered card and a bit out of my comfort zone, but it was really fun to try something new.…
A little while ago I was so lucky to get a hold of one of Tim Holtz’s’ discontinued dies (Vintage Valise), I had to try it as soon as possible so I found my collage medium, tissue paper, my oxide inks and sprays, chipboard and rub-on. The suitcase I made of chipboard and inside I made 3 pockets to put my tags in. Then I played with inks and sprays and tissue paper and this is the result.…
Mixed media is something I really like and one of my favourite brands is Finnabair. I recently bought new products and had to test them at once. I found an old lightbulb, some cast forms, some glue sticks and old scraps of embellishments. After some glueing, painting and waxing this was the result. I like how this one turned out, and I’m looking forward to giving this to someone that deserves it. If you want to learn how to make…
A little while ago a friend of mine asked me to make a special box for her. The box was to be used for a proposal and should contain pictures, memories and other things they have shared. I love projects like this and this is the result. For this box I only used basil and design paper. PS: He said yes!…
