Guestbook with a twist

May 14, 2019

This time of year is really busy with confirmations in my country, and this year my niece had her confirmation. I wanted to make her a special gift, so she has a memory for life. I choose to make her a box for all the greeting cards from the day, and on top of the box, I made a guestbook.  The box is made from chipboard and covered with white Bazzil inside, and design paper from prima on the outside.…

Meeting Finnabair

May 13, 2019

Hi everyone! For a long time, I have wanted to meet Finnabair in person, and be able to learn from her directly. This weekend that dream came true! I took a class with her, named «colors of the past». It was really a nice project to work on, and she has a good way of teaching!  New things are always a little scary, and I thought I had ruined my project 4 times during the class. But then the next step in…

The Easter eggs of 2019

May 4, 2019

Hi everyone! Easter is over, and summer is on its way. I have a lot of orders for my creations at the moment, so I’m a little behind on posting projects on the blog. I hope you still find this year’s Easter eggs interesting anyway. Every year I decorate Easter eggs in many colors. This year I made 10, and all of them was sold to one kind lady, and she even ordered 3 more! So here are all of…

Mixed media dream and imagination

April 29, 2019

Hi everyone! New week, new projects! This is my favorite make of April. It is a mixed media card, made for the weekly challenge in the pop-up lift challenge group I’m in:) I started by stamping some distress on to my glass surface from Tim Holtz and sprayed it with some water to get a watercolor look. I swiped the paper into the different puddles of color and dried with my heat tool. Then I found some background stamps I…

A little red purse

April 26, 2019

Hello friends! A while ago I bought a tonic studio purse die,  and I finally got around to try it! This red an black one is just made of Bazzil and has some tiny bling, and a magnet to close. This was quite a bit of work, despite the use of a die. The lace pattern is really intricate, and I struggled with the cutting a little bit, but after a few runs through my big shot, it was okay. The…

Angel in a tin

April 25, 2019

Hi friends! I admit it, I am totally in love with the Finnabair waxes! I paint everything I can find with black gesso, and then let the waxwork it’s magic. This time I had to ask my mom if she could be so kind as to eat her candy so I could have the tin. Hehe. And as you can see, she did. Thank you, mom! I used some casting moulds to create the angel and the rose inside the tin,…

Tag magic

April 22, 2019

At the beginning of 2019, I agreed with my self that I was going to participate in more challenges, so that I can have new ideas and learn new stuff. So far, I have managed to keep my promise to my self. This tag is made for a challenge on a Facebook group called Arjo’s ATC and tag. I enjoy tags and ATCs when I have no idea what to make, but I still want to make something. Here I…

Easter bunny loves me

April 21, 2019

This year the Easter bunny left me the biggest Easter egg ever! Inside was the greatest gift of all, show tickets, plane and accommodation for Creativation 2020 (the big show in Phoneix). I have to be the luckiest girl ever. And since we live in Norway, this is a pretty big deal. Isn’t this the best Easter bunny ever? I love you dear.…

Challenge accepted

April 19, 2019

Every week I participate in a challenge on a facebook group called “pop-up lift”, this card I made for last week lift. I used the Georgia blues design paper from Prima marketing, I also used embellishments from the same series. This is a really layered card and a bit out of my comfort zone, but it was really fun to try something new.…
